I am a TAIWANESE

I HATE to be thought as a Chinese when people on the street come to me and say 'Ni Hao Ma' as the pickup line. Though it is not a certainty, I pretend I do not know and walk away. I am proud of being a Taiwanese. I absolutely claim myself a Taiwanese. I dislike some of our professors seeing Taiwanese as Chinese. Yet, it happens in the classroom and it is the truth. What the hell you guys think Taiwanese are Chinese.

Can't people be well-educated to think what Taiwanese are exactly? To prove, I found the statement which says Taiwan is not traditionally a part of china (Kerr 1986) Cheers :)
