Lost the party

I have been working in Lewis’s assignment for a while and trying to finish it as soon as possible so that I could go for an X’mas party.
Though I drank cups of coffee to keep myself awake, my brain did not work at all. Therefore, it has not done yet! The deadline is tomorrow. I suppose to finish it this afternoon and go to the party at night. However, I decided to work on it slowly because I want to shine Lewis I made lots of efforts on his assignment. I knew it is a pity to miss the party. Nevertheless, it is worth doing so because all I want is to get good marks.
