mad boy
I gave a Verb To Be lesson to my students today. A boy named Duncan was extremely bad at grammar. He hardly understood and did any paper work all by himself. I took the advantage of the break time to teach him again.
Without offering any hint and answer, I kept him in the classroom finishing his paper after the class. Ten minutes passed, I saw none in his answer sheet, but his facial expression and body language. I noticed the change of his emotions, but I pretended that I did not know. Then, ten minutes passed again,he barely sat steadily on the chair. He stoop up and stamped his feet with tears in eyes. I ordered him to sit down and get his paper done as soon as possible or I would punish him. Under my threat, he sat back. Still, he lost his temper and his brain seemed did not work anymore. Therefore, he hit the desk with his forehead with two loud bangs. Finally, I walked to him, took his paper back and let him go because I could not but laughing loudly for all his behaviors. He was so funny. I did not mean to laugh at him. He is usually out of his mind when it talks about grammar. That's why I did him bad on purpose. Poor boy!
