COME ON ~ ~ !!

"You are lucky, Sonia!" My friends told me with cheers when I was nominated to run for the head of the English Association days ago.I try to pretend that I'm deaf-and dumb,but I have to face it and give a speech after all.Doubtless,I should be happy to gain the opportunity to run for the chief,but the time is not right for me.If I were a sophomore,I would spend much time on the English Association.During the period of being a sophomore,I lost two chances to win scholarship and it was such a shame to my record!!And of course,it also revealed I distracted my attention.I gave it a try thoroughly to experience how a class leader's and a student's lives with part-time job would be for the last two semesters.However,realizing I'm not capable to do schoolwork,work part-time and manage trifling things at the same time is the reason why I want to abstain.
You probably wonder why I didn't refuse at the very beginning once I was named. Because I don't want to be,I don't take it into consideration. Not until does the announcement comes tomorrow,I haven’t noticed I'd better to do something for any possibility.
It's always nice to have heartwarming friends whether they are away from me or not. It's Judy that told me "It's not a shame to concentrate on one thing instead of doing several things at the same time.”The meaning suddenly dawned on me.I know what I should do then.Follow my heart! : ) TANKÀ!!
