Little world I live, big world enjoy
Three days ago I went to Taipei and put up at my distant relatives who I never knew and saw before for the night. You may feel a bit queer, so do I. However, it was a chance encounter. I went to Taipei for the scout meeting, but had no where to live. Maybe I could stay at hotel….Anyway, my cousin did me a favor and told me his uncle's house was a good place to stay.
The other day, when the scout meeting that from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. was over, I was ready to go back to my dorm, but my uncle told me he wanted to show me around with his family by RV. Therefore, we had a night travel from evening to the other day in the early morning. How COOOOOOL they were. My parents won't do that and not to mention about permitting me to go out after 8 P.M.
The sun goes down about 6 during the summertime of Taiwan .We traveled along the coast to the mountains. It was living. But, due to the sky was too dark to have a deep look at the surface of the sea, I could only hear the sound from the sea and felt the sea wind kissed my face. To my surprise, I happen to sea many men fishing by the shore. Wow! To me, the other explanation for fishing is “waste time”.
The sun had gone down, the moon come up, big and bright in the star- shining air. What a grand sight to view when we were overlooking the all Taipei in the mountains. Lights were lit and they glittered as vivid as diamonds could be. How longing I was to have someone by my side. Um…, maybe years later. So, do you notice what I said just now? If you are sensible, you will know what I want to say is there were lots of couples.
I should have shown you some pics, but I went to Taipei for the meeting without digital camera and never predicted what kind of night I would have been through. So, I decided to visit my cousins next month. I dare not to expect the same experience, but I would like to discover the beauty of Taiwan.
Now, I am sitting at my desk and ready to "survive" for this week and the following week because the final exam is at hand. You know, whatever exam, it gets its unique magic to make students' faces longer and grayer than usual. And you can imagine what and how I am going to be. My sophomore life is going to an end, and I'm great that I had a COOOOL weekend. 11 days are left to enjoy the summer vacation. And I will go to Korea for scouting. That's what I have planned so far. Wherever you are, Taiwan is open for you, so is my home and my time. : )
