Happy Chinese New Year__Year of the Rooster
It’s Chinese tradition that grown-ups give red envelopes to children to wish them good luck for the whole year. Red is the lucky color in Chinese culture and that’s why the envelopes are red. What’s more, Grown-ups put money in the red envelopes and children can deal with money on their own
I grew up in a big family. It’s time for me to visit relatives. And, of course, I have a group of friends to drop by as well. I’ll miss all of you wherever you are.
Originally, I wanted to post a Rooster photo here. But…,tell you the truth, I’m quite afraid of feathers. It was a long and bad impressed when I was about 4. (>~~<) So DISGUSTING!
Congratulation! Happy Chinese New Year!
( By the way, The lunar calendar is widely used throughout Taiwan.)
