Business and math

I like reading and it’s the best way to improve one’s imagination. However, I deeply realized that there are various reading. (Of course! What I’m talking about!)
I’ve spent two days previewing chapter one of the Business English lessons with almost looking up every word in a dictionary, but I hardly get a rough idea.
No matter what storybooks or novels I read, I can learn what they said most of the time, though they’re English versions. ( I dare not say that I can 100 percent understand as well as Chinese versions).
I’m a math loser. I admit forthright. And you can ask me what kind of punishment I had had been through when I was in junior high school and senior high school so that you can find some ways to deal with any math teacher if you got poor grades in Taiwan. Yeow! It sounds terrible!
The text I’ve previewed is called “English for Business”. It won’t be a problem for me that it’s the English version. The real problem is that I’m far less interested in business. Could somebody tell me the relation between math and business?
